Capability Consultant, Dubai/Abu Dhabi. Build Communities of Practice, advise Capability Partners, and keep the knowledge ecosystem thriving.
Job description
Capability Consultant | Learning Consulting | Onsite UAE | Dubai-Based
Every learning organization has pockets of expertise scattered across teams, and no easy way to connect them. As a Capability Consultant, you'll be the person who does that connecting: a trusted advisor to Capability Partners across our client's institutes, building Communities of Practice that actually work, keeping stakeholders aligned, and making sure the organization's knowledge ecosystem grows instead of stalling out.
What you'll do
Advise and support Capability Partners across institutes, coordinating capability-building activities and sharing what's working from one community to the next
Launch and sustain Communities of Practice, from engagement strategy and content curation to tracking participation and impact
Coordinate stakeholder engagement, connecting learners, subject matter experts, and leaders through speaker sessions, networking, and collaborative projects
Set and govern the meeting cadence for community and stakeholder forums, running the sessions, documenting outcomes, and following through on action items
Maintain the knowledge ecosystem, curating best practices and lessons learned so people can find what already exists instead of recreating it
Assess whether learning is really the right solution for a given request, and bring a data and ROI perspective to capability-building work
Partner with Design Studio, Learning Operations, and Solutions Architecture to give Capability Partners joined-up support
Job requirements
What you bring
4+ years in community management, capability consulting, stakeholder engagement, or knowledge management
A track record of building or managing professional communities or learning networks, not just participating in them
Strong facilitation skills — you can run a meeting or discussion that people actually want to be at
Experience with collaboration and community management platforms
A working understanding of Communities of Practice principles and knowledge management
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
If you'd rather build the connections that make a knowledge ecosystem work than manage it from the sidelines, we'd like to talk.
