Principal Learning Consultant (Full Time Remote, UAE)

Position: Full-time employee

Location: Remote (Middle East-based), with regional and occasional international travel

Infopro Learning has an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Principal Learning Consultant to join our Middle East team!

As Principal Learning Consultant in our dynamic learning consulting business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing learning initiatives for our clients across the full spectrum of learning solutions. Leveraging your expertise in instructional design, learning methodologies, and cutting-edge technologies, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative learning experiences that align with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning and development. You will also spearhead innovation efforts with our clients, exploring and implementing emerging approaches and technologies to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.

This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic consultancy, positioning you as a trusted advisor who partners with clients to transform their learning ecosystems through innovative, evidence-based solutions across all learning modalities—from traditional instructor-led training to digital, blended, and experiential learning approaches.

Strategic Learning Consultancy & Advisory

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on learning strategy, organizational capability development, and learning transformation

  • Provide expert consultancy on learning trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the full spectrum of learning solutions

  • Partner with client leadership to align learning initiatives with broader business strategies and organizational goals

  • Build business cases for investment in innovative learning solutions and demonstrate their potential impact on organizational performance

  • Guide clients through the strategic planning and execution of learning transformations across traditional, digital, and blended modalities

  • Deliver executive presentations and workshops to educate stakeholders on learning innovation opportunities

Learning Needs Analysis

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps within client organizations

  • Determine learning needs at various organizational levels and across different departments

  • Utilize data analytics and insights to predict future learning needs and trends

  • Translate business challenges into learning opportunities and strategic recommendations across all learning formats

Learning Programme Design

  • Develop holistic learning strategies and programmes addressing identified needs across the full learning spectrum

  • Design engaging curricula, select appropriate learning methodologies (e.g., facilitated workshops, instructor-led training, e-learning, blended learning, experiential learning, on-the-job training), and create compelling learning materials

  • Incorporate adaptive learning techniques and personalized learning paths using modern technologies and pedagogical approaches

  • Create innovative solutions that balance pedagogical effectiveness with business pragmatism across traditional and digital modalities

Leading Instructional Design Teams

  • Provide leadership and guidance to instructional design teams

  • Oversee the development of learning solutions based on defined strategies across all learning formats

  • Foster a culture of innovation within teams, encouraging experimentation with new learning tools, methodologies, and delivery approaches

  • Mentor and develop instructional designers to enhance their capabilities and professional growth

Performance Evaluation

  • Assess the effectiveness of learning interventions through various evaluation methods

  • Utilize post-training evaluations, surveys, performance metrics, and feedback for continuous improvement

  • Implement performance tracking systems and analytics to measure and forecast learning impact

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on evaluation findings

Job requirements

What Makes You a Fit

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, organizational development, education, or a related field

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in adult learning, instructional design, or organizational psychology are highly desirable

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning programmes and strategies across multiple learning modalities

  • Experience in a consultancy or advisory capacity, working with multiple clients and stakeholders to deliver strategic learning solutions

  • Demonstrated success in leading learning transformation initiatives across traditional and modern learning approaches

Core Competencies

Instructional Design Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in instructional design methodologies, learning theories, and adult learning principles

  • Experience designing a comprehensive variety of learning modalities, including instructor-led training, e-learning, microlearning, simulations, blended learning, experiential learning, and on-the-job training approaches

Consultancy & Advisory Skills

  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders

  • Strong consulting skills including needs assessment, solution design, and implementation support

  • Ability to build compelling business cases and communicate value to diverse audiences

  • Experience facilitating strategic workshops and executive-level presentations

Team Leadership

  • Demonstrated experience leading instructional design teams, providing guidance, feedback, and support

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables

  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities

Business Acumen

  • Strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to align learning strategies with organizational goals

  • Experience conducting needs assessments, analyzing performance gaps, and translating them into effective learning solutions

  • Ability to support clients in building business cases for investment in innovative learning solutions and technologies

Technical Proficiency

  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and other learning technologies

  • Familiarity with emerging trends in learning technology and a willingness to explore and implement innovative solutions

  • Understanding of modern learning technologies including AI, data analytics applications in learning, and virtual/augmented reality
